Black Shirt; White Tree

My single all-black shirt is no longer all-black. I originally bought it at Value Village, as I needed something sans-logo for Midsummer Night's Dream. I used this pattern, printed on a piece of photo paper I found laying around, as a stencil. After FINALLY finding my surgical scissors and cutting it out, I used white pearl fabric paint to make myself a Standard of Gondor style shirt. Of course, being a piece of paper taped to a shirt, the paint did not stay strictly within the lines, so there are a few little blips and irregularities.


What I wouldn't give for a digital camera.

This is on the back; there is a single white star over the heart.


It's certainly not the most beautiful thing I've ever seen or made, but it's cool nonetheless. (Plus a total cost of Absolutely Nothing New can't be beat!) It only took about half-an-hour to stencil it (the CD* I had playing is just over 29 minutes, and it ended as I did) with a really terrible brush I found - that explains the texture. That and the fact that it was stuck in a scanner. Anyway, now I have another Geek Shirt. Hurrah!

*I guess my Edit never appeared on that entry. Huh. The CD in question is one Zack burned for me. It has 4 differant Invader Zim songs/mixes on it, and all sorts of other random stuff from Homestar Runner and Seasame Street. It rules my world.
